ABOUT US
The Boy Scouts are an organization dedicated to helping today’s young men become stronger, good moraled members of society. The overall goal is to teach young scouts valuable lessons, skills, and morals that they can use for the rest of their life.

Troop 61 is based out of Corsica, Pa and is chartered by the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. We have been an active troop since 2000 and have been slowly growing ever since. Since the start of troop 61 there have been over 30 members to the troop including two Eagle Scouts.

The boy scouts do many things from camping and hiking to working to help the community. As a scout your son will go on many adventures in the wilderness. He will learn many things about camping, nature, and survival in the outdoors. Scout, of course, also do things to help the community. Throughout the year scouts do many service projects to help the community.
